Afternoon Tea & Victoria Sponge Cake

Having some afternoon tea and Victoria sponge yesterday for Victoria Day☕👑🍰
I used @odlums_ireland flour which had the classic Victoria sponge cake recipe on the back. It was my first time making a Victoria sponge cake and it ended up a bit lopsided but as you can see that didn’t bother us at all!! It was delicious😋

  1. Dear Jellybean

Just wish I could be there, the whole at&vsp 👀 Wonderful. Great afternoon was had by all I’m sure many more joined the party 💐. Happy 😊😝🥳😎Victoria and Hepburn time. It is very difficult to get a Victoria sponge right.

You put so much effort including the pics, scenery and layout. Well done Jellybean and all others involved.

  2. Dear Helen,

Thank you very much for your lovely comment. We had a lovely Victoria and Hepburn day. I’m sure when I see you next you’d love a slice of my Victoria sponge cake 😉 I really enjoyed baking it and I also had great company as well.

I hope you and all in Monard are keeping well (and George of course). I am looking forward to seeing you all soon.
